Airbnb.org is providing free, emergency housing for people who have been displaced by the wildfire in the Texas Panhandle, US.Airbnb.org is partnering with 211 Texas Panhandle to provide free, emergency housing for people who have been displaced by the wildfire.Residents impacted by the fires in the Texas Panhandle during May of 2026 can request temporary housing support by contacting 2-1-1 and asking about the Airbnb.org program. Stays are free for guests and are funded by Airbnb.org and the generosity of donors.
If you’d like to help provide free stays to people impacted by the wildfire, you can make a donation to Airbnb.org. 100% of donations go directly to emergency housing. If you’re an Airbnb host, you can sign up to offer discounted stays for impacted residents. Airbnb donates its host service fees to Airbnb.org for these stays and provides hosts with AirCover for each booking.
